How do you vote for the next free letter?

What Happened to the A. I know that there were numerous votes for the A but It never happens. Just wondering WHY???

last i looked the A had 173 votes, went to bed thinking yes i will finally get the A tomorrow. But NO......shock

I have watched for a week now - at midnight the A votes have it and by time 10am arrives letters that barely have any votes win over the A. Beginning to think this is fixed.

I am honestly starting to think voting doesn't mean anything. How can the A have so many votes and never comes up free?
