I think the "ex" stands for exclamation. The original files said "exclamation" and the new files say "ex". Just an abbreviation.

thseabreze- If in doubt download your normal font plus another, just in case. Looking through the other fonts, they all have the _ex before the format listing. If just curious you may want to ask a moderator over at Cute Embroidery community forums to see if one of them knows, which will be easier to get an answer and not have to read through the thank you lists looking for your answer. Just a guess on my part, but would suspect it was so Ms Veronika could not only correct the other files and also label these new files slightly different so as to not confuse them, which would also explain why even the designs that had worked were also changed to have the ._ex in their file name. JEF format is not working.

This design is still not available in all formats.

hi there its the third time this has been up and still the same not working in Jef

The HUS format is working because I was just able to download using it. Please vote the 3 and the ?. These numbers are beautiful.

FoxC- Please take one of the working formats and go to EmbroideryDesigns.com and click on freebies at the bottom of the left hand column, then format conversion, and get the design reformatted. They do convert to 19 different formats and PES is the second on the list of formats offered. They allow 5 free conversions a month or have additional reformatting programs available. Hope you finally get it reformatted.

(It's just been confusing that all of the other designs have worked but this one....but here's what's worked for me...

I clicked on the ART format which works. I also clicked on others to see if they work with some going to the 404 error page.

Anyways, I will now go to my free Wilcom Trusizer conversion program and convert the ART format to my Janome .JEF format. This does work. I just hadn't tried the other formats, thinking they all must not work. But I got it now. Thanks for the design and for those who commented with this roundabout way!

jef, pcs, pes, sew, vip, xxx are all broken and not working

Ms Veronika, Thank You for your many gifts, they are very much appreciated!... Cuties who may start to say that formats are still not fixed , PLEASE don't. After over 114 messages posting about formats not working, I am sure she does not need to hear it again. Several here have already explained how to either get a conversion program for free, or to go to a site that will convert the design for free, we have helped all we are able to, without coming to your house and doing it for you. To continue to ask for help but not be willing to take any of the advice makes it seem as though you just want something to complain about which is not necessary. It truly is a pity that it has taken 4 postings in 2 weeks for people to get this design downloaded when all the help has been there since the first day. Thank You to those trying to help.

Just so you know, pretty much all embroidery machines can use DST format (even if it isn't listed in the manual). The only thing you might need is to also get the color chart, since DST is only "color stops" and so the colors it shows won't correspond with what the picture looks like.

I thought grandma69 was on the money. I downloaded the vip file using save link as but the file was only 1k in size and it kept crashing my program that I view the embroidery files. So sad :(.

if you get a 404 not found message, right click on the format you want and select "save link as..." in the drop down list you get. It works - that is how I have been getting mine - and no need to convert

Still only the first 7 formats are working.
Best thing to do is download one of the first 7 formats and change it through wilcom.com it is free software you can download.

The Pes file goes to an error message It is ok if you have a way to convert the other formats but some people do not have a program that does this for them.

All inoperative links can be downloaded by: right clicking on the format you want, click "save link as..." and it will download.

For those of you who are trying to download and get a 404 error, download another format (hus) and convert it to your format. This is the 3rd time this exclamation point has been up within a week and it doesn't look like it will be fixed.

I can not get PES format either. Have tried right click on format and the "save link as" and it did download but it says failed - No file, on the bottom left of my screen.

I got art 4 ok, but not the Pes.

If you cannot download the design, you just need to right click on the format you want then click on "save link as..." and it will download. Just did it.

margel- It would be easier to reformat than to just hope a design is corrected and then also hoping the votes will be there to bring the design back up again. If you save the design in a different format then you could use a program you already have or you can go to EmbroideryDesigns . com and click on freebies, then format conversion, and get the design reformatted. Hope this idea helps.
